Designer

What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? As a designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Reporting to the Head of Design in New York, The Print Designer role is pivotal in supporting the continuous development of commercial and innovative print designs, across all our accessory brands. These designs should accurately reflect the brand DNA, meet market needs and directly contribute to the increased revenues.

The Print Designer will ensure that the designs that are produced are executed with excellence and model best in class examples of innovation.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and identify trends in both prints and products.
  • Perform competitive analysis.
  • Prepare presentation boards for meetings, to include mock-ups, colour applications, inspirational photos.
  • Ensure maintenance of library.
  • Execute seasonal designs up to 4 * a year, across all brands in our accessories division portfolio.
  • Design according to set out product plans, sales needs, emerging trends, in line with product development calendar.
  • Provide ideas and inspiration on a seasonal basis on raw materials and trims.
  • Ability to demonstrate a wide range of experience of graphic design with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Work in a team environment, with the ability to remain agile to meet tight deadlines

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in design.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, CAD and Mac Computers.
  • Experience of working with or for luxury brands
  • Passionate about fashion and design
  • Degree in Art or Design.
  • Ability to travel internationally for research and development and customer, or internal meetings.
