Specific Responsibilities Would Include

 

Role Overview: As the Senior Director of Replenishment Planning at Centric Brands, you will lead the team responsible for developing and executing replenishment strategies aligned with our overall business objectives. This role is pivotal to our success, overseeing processes and strategies related to replenishment financial planning, assortment planning, and in-season management. Your primary goal will be to optimize sales, margin, and inventory turnover through effective planning, forecasting, and inventory management. Additionally, you will play a critical role in driving organizational change and transformation in support of our growth initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the replenishment planning team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture
  • Develop and implement replenishment planning strategies aligned with Centric Brands' financial objectives, market trends, and customer demand
  • Occasional travel to key customers to foster relationships, gather insights, and align strategies with customer needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive replenishment plans that meet customer needs, align with brand identity, and maximize profitability
  • Oversee inventory levels and distribution across various channels and store formats to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory
  • Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand accurately. Develop and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy
  • Analyze sales trends, margin performance, and other key metrics to identify opportunities and risks. Use insights to make data-driven decisions in replenishment planning
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and effective execution of replenishment plans
  • Leverage appropriate replenishment planning tools, systems, and technology to enhance the replenishment planning process and improve efficiency

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's or MBA in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in retail or merchandise planning, including prior management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting, financial analysis, and inventory management
  • Experience working with both mass-market and department store customers required, (Amazon a plus)
  • Leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven track record in leading and managing organizational change, implementing new strategies, and driving adoption across teams
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, data validation, and macros, to streamline data analysis and reporting processes
  • Proficiency in using replenishment planning software and tools; experience with planning software implementation a plus

Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
