Merchandiser, Raw Matrl/Trim(1 year contract)

Overall Responsibilities                                                                            

• Support in of fabric/trim trend searching and technical textile development
• Help coordinate fabric lab dip/hand loom/strike off submission with mills
• Support fabric manager in any coordination and communication with fabric and trim suppliers
• Support fabric manager for day to day paper work
• Maintain data information as the demands from NY, fabric suppliers and local teams
• Have the ability or potential of approve fabric and trim bulk colour & quality after short period of training.
• Support in monitoring fabric delivery on time & solve problems
• Other tasks assigned by line manager

Additional Requirements                                                                                     

• Textile higher education graduates, familiar with fabric technology is preferred
• Basic knowledge of textile compliance and safety standard
• Understanding of business network systems and be able to work with such in an effective and productive manner
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Computer Skills, familiar with Microsoft Office
