Robert Graham now operates freestanding stores in locations including Houston, Las Vegas, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Short Hills, New Jersey and Columbus Circle in New York City. The brand also sells at luxury department stores and boutiques including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales nationwide, and Harry Rosen throughout Canada. Robert Graham has retail presence in more than a dozen countries around the world and has showrooms located in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Dusseldorf

 

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Account Executive is responsible overseeing Robert Grahams Women’s Department and Specialty stores. The Account Executive will work closely with the VP of Sales to build & execute strategies to maximize sales and margins, expand distribution with specialty stores including trade shows, in-store events.

 

 Strategy & Innovation

  • Manage and grow relationships with major retailers and specialty stores.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals by season.
  • Analyze business on a weekly basis and recap for upper management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products and programs that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with accounts to define and execute strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Forecast sales and inventory.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Manage market prep and appointments as well as internal and external follow. 
  • Oversee and attend regional tradeshows.
  • Leverage your strong relationships with buyers and upper management to maintain and expand our brand's presence in major department stores, specialty stores.
  • Seasonal Projections and Sales Execution: Collaborate with sales representatives to develop accurate seasonal projections and execute sales targets. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Strong Merchandising Understanding: Present the line to buyers with a strong understanding of merchandising, ensuring that our products align with market demands and customer preferences.
  • Account Development: Show your eagerness and aggressiveness in opening new accounts, expanding our client base, and seizing opportunities for growth. Travel is required to establish and nurture client relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Think strategically and develop creative and innovative solutions in our entrepreneurial environment. Your ability to identify market trends and adapt to changing dynamics will be invaluable.

 Operations & Results

  • Perform daily review of order management to ensure shipments, distributions and deliveries for each account are in system in a timely manner.  Collaborate closely with customer service team to communicate any extension, shipping, or pricing issues with accounts.  Secure ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
  • Partner with operations team to ensure proper credit, shipping, and bookings for each customer.
  • Monitor, assemble and analyze weekly sales, stock levels, and uncover any potential issues or opportunities.
  • Devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding merchandising, markdowns, and orders/reorders to help drive profitable sales.
  • Help to manage samples for showroom and marketing purposes – both internally & for accounts.
  • Travel to customer locations to meet with buyers, realize any sales potential opportunities and ensure proper in-store execution.

 Customers & Relationships

  • Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and focus on their goals & business needs.
  • Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design and Production.
  • Strong relationships with specialty stores and department store buyers.

Leadership & Teams

  • Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.
  • Share best practices to help others be effective and reach their business goals.
  • Inspire people to think in new ways, acquire fresh insights and original ideas.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; collaborative and outgoing
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly meticulous.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5 + years of experience in wholesale apparel sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP a plus
  • Women’s Specialty and Department Store relationships
  • Travel is required for the role (30-40%)

    Salary Range: $74,900-$93,600

     

    At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent.  Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment.  The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.  Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
