Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Handle Accessories Production Management, ensure right quality, right vendor, right price and on time delivery.

  • Lead the team, vendors and factories to manage the very best product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and resolve the quality issue and delivery delay with vendors and factories with collaborating with QA/QC
  • Work closely with HK & China Accessories Hub, New York production, QA/QC team and local general manager to align with the company's requirements and stay updated on the latest product direction and work-in-progress
  • Regularly meet with China and NY production teams to review production status and address quality issues
  • Regularly visit key suppliers mills in local to develop suppliers, manage factories’ capacity allocation and reservation
  • Prepare impactful product presentations and host Customers during visits to Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.
  • Collaborate with the China Merchandising team to ensure on-time and accurate samples that result in orders, along with prompt and competitive price quotes.
  • Review new developments or adopted styles with Hong Kong Technical team to ensure the product offer is backed-up by excellent quality.
  • Support Market intelligence and the company’s sourcing strategy.
  • Set impactful goals for the team that are aligned with the organization’s strategic directions
  • Solve problems and deal with issues professionally and promptly as they arise.
  • Closely follow up on critical path with team and solve problems (if arise) in the process.
  • Ensure that day-to-day review is made on feedbacks received from team members on various issues including production status and corrective actions are taken in time.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the merchandiser team.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional growth and development.
  • Guide the team input and analyzing data, Review and contribute to regular reports.
  • Foster collaboration between teams to align efforts and achieve business goals.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in merchandising
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Knowledge of handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques
  • Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals
  • Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments and proactively navigates challenges
  • Creative mindset with an eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics
  • Up-to-date on the latest merchandising trends and best practices
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products
