Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Leadership in regional Technical Design in terms of operations management, KPI management, team building, SOP development, customer engagement, team performance management, vendor/factory training and project management. Be the “Go-to” person for all technical related matters with different divisions and customers.  Partner collaboratively with regional QA teams in managing quality related decisions on garment construction and size specification.


  • Lead regional teams to drive execution to meet or exceed customers’ quality requirements and to comply with country specific regulatory requirements (for examples product safety for Kids products).
  • Develop and manage KPI to drive operational excellence.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and processes for the region.
  • Create vendor/supplier scorecard based on established KPI and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion performance management to develop teams and to build succession plan.
  • Develop vendor/factory training program with an objective to enable vendor/factory self-sufficient and self-certification in the long term.
  • Build and manage projects related to technical design, examples:- block pattern library and 3D fitting, etc.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders in business internally and externally to build collaborative working relationship.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders in business internally and externally to deal with difficult situation where joint intervention and decision is required.
  • Manage divisional budget.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Additional Requirements                                                                                                                                       

  • Undergraduate in Fashion Design, Fashion & Clothing Technology or Textile Technology
  • 20+ years of working experience in technical design and fit technology with sound knowledge in patterning, garment construction and live model fitting
  • Held a leadership position in buying offices, trading firms or sizable garment manufacturing company
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Experience in 2D/3D software in pattern creation, pattern adjustment and block pattern project
  • Adaptable in a multi-cultural working environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe CAD products
