Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Planning Manager to join its Sleepwear team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.

The Planning Manager is responsible for:

Account Planning:

  • Partner with sales counterpart on day to day planning responsibilities of key account(s)
  • Drive weekly business discussions with cross functional partners & external account contacts and develop actionable strategies to capitalize on business opportunities
  • Develop and evolve standardized reports and processes to drive efficiencies and advance the team’s productivity
  • Forecast in-season sales, inventories and markdowns on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis for Retail
  • Complete ad hoc requests, projects and presentations
  • Build and maintain successful partnerships with planners at key retailers on OTB’s to strategize maintaining model stocks, identify opportunities & reduce risk.
  • Engage/Interact with buying/planning team in meetings with Amazon to establish strong partnerships.

 

Inventory Planning:

  • Accountable for inventory flow of basic replenishment styles; works closely with the Production/Operations teams to maintain acceptable inventory levels while meeting fill rate and instock targets set by customers
  • Review and approve all Replenishment inventory purchases in accordance with approval matrix and ensure all buys are in line with OTB schedules.
  • Monitor Weeks of Supply as well as turn for all Replenishment programs in Sleepwear Division.
  • Produce weekly availability reports and monitor Aged Inventory for all Replenishment styles
  • Create all sales orders for inventory needs. 
  • Support the sales lead with Costco, BJ’s and potential other accounts weekly selling and sales analysis as needed.

 Demand Planning:

  • Lead the replenishment planning process for Amazon with accountability for all replenishment reporting and tools at the SKU and size level.
  • Create and maintain account ladders building seasonal forecasts by brand/product category/style based on shipping history, forecasts, sell thru trends, roll outs, number of doors, etc., and adjust for changes in trend on a weekly basis.
  • Review sales ladders, placements and availability with internal Planning and Sales Management weekly.
  • Strategize with accounts to analyze the businesses, suggest models/inventory levels, maximize current replenishment sku's and identify opportunities.
  • Partner with account and account support teams to manage on hand inventory (in-stocks/supplier stats report) and markdown and carry forward information).
  • Prepare weekly reports as required by accounts.
  • Use of retailer’s online systems to manage their Replenishment business.
  • Maintain Replenishment material attributes through TSG tracker.

 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of replenishment/ inventory planning experience at a retail or consumer product environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail data analysis.
  • Systems experience with: Vendor Central, Tillerman, SAP, Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Amazon is preferred.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
