What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? As a designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic VP, Creative Director to lead our Graphics team. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader capable of harnessing team strengths to deliver artwork of exceptional quality, consistently meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with diverse design teams and liaising closely with licensors' design directors. Brands under our scope include Boardriders, Under Armour, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, GAP, Calvin Klein, and others.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Serve as the driving force behind our creative team, fostering collaboration and maximizing individual and collective potential.

  • Hands-On Leadership: Lead by example, actively engaging in projects to ensure their successful execution.

  • Project Delivery: Oversee all artwork projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality and timeliness.

  • Calendar Management: Rigorously adhere to project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met punctually.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Effectively coordinate with diverse design teams, facilitating seamless communication.

  • Brand Expertise: Possess deep insights into various brands, creatively representing them consistently.

  • Licensor Relations: Collaborate closely with licensors' design directors to align creative outputs with brand guidelines and expectations.

  • Retail Understanding: Demonstrate a thorough grasp of Costco's unique requirements, ensuring all creative work aligns with their standards.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Proven track record as a Creative Director or in a similar senior creative capacity.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, inspiring excellence and teamwork.

  • Excellent project management abilities, consistently delivering on deadlines.

  • Deep understanding of brand development and creative processes.

  • Experience in working with licensors, maintaining brand integrity.

  • Familiarity with Costco and its design standards is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective team dynamics.

Salary Range: $170,000-190,000


At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
