Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Senior IT Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the IT strategy, delivery, and support of the supply chain systems and processes across the organization. The role involves partnering with the business stakeholders to understand their requirements, help define the IT roadmap, manage the project portfolio, and ensure the alignment of IT and business objectives. The Senior IT Director of Supply Chain will also oversee the IT governance, resource capacity planning, vendor management, and ITIL methodologies for the supply chain domain. 

 

  • Develop and execute the IT vision and strategy for the end-to-end supply chain function, aligning with the business goals and priorities. 
  • Build strong relationships with the Business Transformation office (BTO) team and key stakeholders to identify customer demands and prioritization for service delivery. 
  • Manage the IT project portfolio for the supply chain domain, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, budget, and timeline. 
  • Establish and maintain the IT governance framework, policies, and standards for the supply chain function, ensuring compliance, security, and best practices. 
  • Lead and mentor the IT team responsible for the supply chain systems and processes, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Act as an escalation point and take ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
  • Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT and business for timely delivery of the solution.
  • Build, develop and retain IT talent and manage goals and performance reviews of team members.
  • Manage the relationship and performance of the IT vendors and service providers for the supply chain domain, ensuring SLAs, contracts, and expectations are met. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the IT performance, risks, and issues for the supply chain function, providing regular reports and recommendations to the senior management and stakeholders. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the supply chain and IT industry, identifying and evaluating new opportunities for improvement and innovation. 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field. 
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. 
  • Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience, managing teams, budgets, and projects. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAP AFS/retail or S4 Fashion, PLM, EDI, 3PL, Nexus Infor, and other supply chain systems and technologies. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior executives, business partners, IT peers, and external vendors. 
  • Excellent organization skills, project management, resource planning, problem solving, and analytical skills. 
  • Experience working with onsite and offshore AMS providers 
  • Certification in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant frameworks is a plus.
