Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Lifestyle Senior Planner will be an active partner in managing the life cycle in brands in our Men’s and Women’s brands. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands. This position will report to the Director of Planning as well as collaborating with Sales, Demand Planning and our account partners to proactively manage the business and achieve our financial goals.

 

 

Key Responsibilities for Sr. Planner

 

  • Gather, update and publish and analyze weekly retail sales results reporting in excel
    • Create and/or set up reporting weekly/monthly/seasonally
  • Actively participate in weekly sales results meetings by analyzing reporting results and speaking to areas of issues or opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of product performance at wholesale/retail for multiple businesses at various levels (Retailer type, Account, Class, Style, Location, etc.)
  • Create and maintain weekly ladder projection files in excel and forecast customer sales, receipts and markdowns at a program level
  • Own and maintain account level seasonal open-to-buy (OTB’s) to help analyze sales, markdowns, receipts and stock levels with retail partners to make strong business decisions
  • Build and own future season margin forecast files and partner with Sales to identify growth opportunities and strategies to optimize product assortments
  • Assist with monthly shipment and margin forecasts and estimate rollups, with an understanding of landed cost, standard wholesale price, and actual selling price.
  • Provide support to the Planning team in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
  • Establish strong relationships with key team members internally and externally, including Design, Sourcing, Production, and Operations.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in wholesale or retail planning
    • Experience with retailers (Kohl’s, Macy’s, Belk, etc.) or coming from the retail side a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of retail math, including sales, gross margin, markup and markdown rates
  • Ability to present materials in a clear and compelling manner
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel Skills, including formulas and pivot tables to manage large data sets
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Capable of independently problem solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated and capable of prioritizing workload to meet changing priorities
  • Comfortable working with standardized recaps and reporting formats, but also capable of creating ad-hoc reporting as needed to clearly present business information
  • Capable of balancing the needs and demands of multiple accounts, sales leads, and senior management in an environment where business needs change frequently
  • Ability to learn new systems and planning methodologies
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Tillerman a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
