Production/Product Development

From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, order placement, pricing, quality control and getting the finished product where it needs to be, our production/product development team is responsible for ensuring we keep our standards high and our business profitable at every step of the journey. Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Product Development Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing placements, color, and strike offs in production for Character Licensed brands.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review & comment on all color/layout for strike offs, lab dips, and trims
  • Responsible for daily email correspondence with factory
  • Review pre-production samples against approved strike off’s
  • Maintaining color library by color and fabrication
  • Responsible for educating design teams on printing fabric execution with examples
  • Must be aware of production deadlines and execute approvals accordingly
  • Readiness to take on someone else’s workload in their absence or based on deadlines
  • Ability to see color and communicate comments clearly to our factory partners
  • Ensure color consistency within sets and collections
  • Enter all comments into Flex PLM in clear concise fashion
  • Able to identify errors and question artwork
  • Lead all strike off review meetings with department heads as required
  • Follow License protocol for strike off submission
  • Understanding of fabrication limitations and printing restrictions
  • Create color cards and order color standards
  • Contribute to daily team responsibilities

Customers & Relationships:

  • Maintain professional and respectful relationship with all internal teams as well as our factory partners
  • Seamless communication with design, final art, production, licensing, sales and overseas partners
  • Understanding individual account specific details
  • Aid in any deadlines within our division

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • 1-3 years experience and/or training in product development
  • Excellent color sense, a keen eye for color and the ability to differentiate color accurately and describe color differences
  • Excellent communication skills & professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with design directors, production, licensing, and sales teams
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Licensing experience a plus
  • Flex PLM experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

Salary Range: $63,000 - $65,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
