Production

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Director, Production Operations is responsible for the oversight, planning, execution and successful delivery of projects for the Beauty division. They work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to define program objectives, create & manage project plans, allocate resources and track/communicate progress. This is a hands on role focused on driving process, efficiency and collaboration across the organization. The position will report directly to the EVP, Division Head, Beauty, with close collaboration with Production & Sourcing counterparts. 

                                

Operational Efficiency & Process Management

  • Act as the cross-functional leader and communicator of milestones, KPIs and margin targets to ensure overall program execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Management of Product Lifecycle Calendar and communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and monitor performance.

Operations and Results

  • Ensure overall accountability across team for adhering to timelines & targets.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Design and Sales to review product development projects, establish margin goals, in context of larger assortment and cost structure; set and articulate expectations and ensure timely delivery according to development calendar.
  • Lead team in high-level troubleshooting, including identifying and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish project scope, end-to-end tracking and monitoring of production processes.
  • Conduct internal project review meetings to ensure accountability.

Leadership & Teams

  • Motivate & collaborate with cross-function partners to drive overall business performance and execution.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of individuals and team(s).

 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8 - 10 years’ experience in production and sourcing operations or production project management.
  • Consumer Goods/Beauty experience a plus
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert in Microsoft excel & office suite.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
