Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Overall Responsibilities

 

-People management and Team leadership
*Lead, mentor, and develop the whole VM/OM team across Asia.
*Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct evaluations that recognize achievements and identify areas for improvement.
*Effectively manage team resources, including workload distribution and assignments, to optimize efficiency and ensure adequate support for all team members.
*Support team members in their career aspirations and skillset development.
*Make a concerted effort to rebuild trust among team members as needed.
*Facilitate opportunities for team members to test new ideas efficiently through rapid prototyping, viewing innovation as a journey that may involve many turns.
*Create opportunities for team members to strengthen their networks, value diverse opinions, and seek out a variety of perspectives.

 

-Order Management
*Lead and supervise a team to utilize internal systems (SAP/PLM/IBT) to process and modify Purchase Orders efficiently and ensure the accuracy of PO/SO/Material costing.
*Ensure timely transmission of Purchase Orders to the Infor Nexus system.
*Monitor the status of invoicing and documentation submissions.
*Resolve discrepancies in the POs among various platforms.
*Ensure proper and efficient tracking of the whole process of material sourcing and development, primarily focusing on cotton traceability
*Coordinate with vendors and internal logistics operations, production, sales, and finance teams to resolve cargo handover, shipment, and payment issues as needed.

 

-Vendor Management
*Troubleshoot and monitor any issues related to the Infor Nexus system for vendors and factories.
*Establish and maintain vendor and factory profiles across various platforms (Infor Nexus, SAP, OSCA , etc.).
*Coordinate on-boarding training for new vendor and factory and maintain records.
*Monitor end-to-end supply chain performance and collaborate with external/internal parties to ensure on-time delivery.

 

-Data Analysis and Reporting
*Design regular reports to monitor team productivity.
*Assist in collecting data from business units to prepare management reports.
*Identify any opportunities for leveraging vendors and factories across Business Units
*Evaluate the effectiveness of the Vendor Scorecard to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and the latest business environment.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Additional Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
*Minimum of 10 years of experience in vendor management, order processing, or supply chain operations.
*Proven experience in a supervisory is preferred.
*Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis is required. Knowledge of macros, Power BI, and VBA is considered an asset.
*Experience or expertise in SAP/PLM is essential.
*Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
*Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals
*Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to details.
*Adaptable and flexible attitude, allowing for problem-solving from different angles.
*Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
*Willingness to travel to different office locations within the region as required.
