Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Sales Assistant supports the execution of strategies set by the Director of Sales by performing general sales activities including follow-up and customer service, in order to maximize sales and margins, support and promote Avirex and maintain optimal relationships with customers.

  • Will be assisting in all facets of sales for Majors, Specialty stores and OP channels
  • Assist with trade shows
  • Maintain and monitor selling reports for all major department stores
  • Assist Director of Sales with order management, market appointments, pre-market preparation and post-market follow up
  • Assist in presenting line to buyers at market meetings and trade shows
  • Maintenance of PO log, seasonal order confirmations and weekly shipping updates
  • Travel for in store events, seminars and trunk shows as needed
  • Manage all sample requests and copy for direct channels, marketing, and advertising needs
  • Oversee communication with store managers and specialists for key department stores
  • Present best and worst seller recaps weekly
  • Assist with showroom management including set up for key markets and tradeshows
  • Assist with other special projects as needed
  • Manage & maintain drop ship process
  • Work with credit and operations departments to ensure timely delivery and shipment of orders
  • Form and apply analytical insights to offer merchandise recommendations

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training in wholesale apparel sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP and NuOrder

Salary Range: $48,000 - 60,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
