Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Office Services Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of our building. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling maintenance issues, keeping the facility in a safe and well-functioning state, and assisting the Facilities Manager.  To be successful in this role, you must exhibit exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and resolve maintenance issues onsite 
  • Daily tour of building including checklist of building systems and overall condition of premise 
  • Assist Facilities Manager with preventative maintenance on all appliances
  • Work with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs
  • Provide support for the mailroom function
  • Office Supply Ordering - Bulk ordering for copy rooms and kitchens 
  • Assist with projects such as reconfiguring buildings, moving office space, and other light facilities functions 
  • Conduct performance assessments of company appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens and coffee makers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks
  • Maintain proper inventory for supplies related to copiers, printers and fax machines
  • Assist with the inventory and maintenance of existing furniture and equipment 
  • Stocking of kitchens and copy rooms, includes resupply and inventory 
  • Cover/provide support for receptionist as needed 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Associates degree in facilities management, business or equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with Facility or Property Administration
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Proven experience as handyman; knowledge of hand and power tool use, ability to identify and respond to maintenance requests, and basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical functions
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills

Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000

The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
