Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Position Summary
The transportation coordinator is responsible for the management of assigned drayage carriers, engaging in regular communication with both internal & external customers, maintaining accurate data within our Trinium TMS system and collaborating with internal departments to ensure the timely flow of goods into our 3PL network.

 

Specific Responsibilities:
• Conducting a daily on hold report for all in-transit containers within 5 days of vessel ETA
• Monitoring vessel ETA’s and updating our Trinium TMS system of any vessel deviations or vessel changes
• Claiming pier pass/TMF
• Accepting new work order ASN’s into our Trinium TMS system and ensuring the accuracy of new orders
• Pre-assigning delivery orders / EDI’s to drayage providers
• Tracking & tracing containers through port terminal websites
• Dispatching available containers to truckers
• Maintaining up to date milestone information in Trinium with scheduled appointment dates & times, delivery status, etc.
• Scheduling delivery appointments with DC’s as necessary
• Responsible for the SLA performance of assigned drayage providers
• Maintain DC yard checks within Trinium TMS
• Notifying truckers of their available empties and aging empties pending return back to port
• Other duties and training as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

• At least two years of experience in the logistics industry specifically with knowledge of port drayage, rail and CFS stations
• A firm understanding of supply chain operations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle high traffic of inbound emails, strong organization skills and the ability to multitask
• Collaborative attitude and solution-oriented mindset
• Familiar with Trinium TMS, SAP & Infor Nexus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work an 8-hour work day starting between 6:00am-8:00am

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
