Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Joe’s Jeans is looking for a Planning manager who will partner with Production, Merchandising and Sales to manage the planning activities across our men’s and women’s categories. Reporting to our VP of Planning. The ideal candidate is data-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a deep understanding wholesale planning, inventory demand planning and merchandise assortment planning.

  • Act as the liaison between sales, production, and merchandising for seamless order execution.
  • Manage the open-to-buy (OTB) process to align purchasing decisions with financial targets, inventory constraints, and profitability.
  • Oversee product lifecycle, size scales, and SKU-level buys.
  • Forecast and adjust demand for Core program monthly.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, risks, and trends.
  • Provide hindsight analysis and collaborate with merchandising on future product positioning and opportunities.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and implement process improvements.
  • Mentor and manage a planner, providing guidance on analysis, forecasting, and process improvements.
  • Ad-hoc recaps and analysis as needed in order to best react to the needs of the business

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented individual who has the ability and desire to drive towards data accuracy
  • Adept in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, SAP; advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.
  • Strong comprehension of retail math and metrics, such as sell thru, open to buy, weeks of supply, margin, markdowns, etc.
  • Previous planning experience is required. 
  • Team player capable of adapting and reprioritizing projects based on current business needs
  • Self-starter who can take initiative to proactively problem solve and seek out resources needed to move a project forward
  • Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Management experience preferred.

Salary Range:  $95,200-$120,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
