Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Senior Account Executive plays a key role in driving revenue growth and maximizing profit margins through strategic account management, business development, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This individual will support and promote the brand(s), build long-term customer relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that align with both customer needs and brand goals.

 

Strategy & Innovation

  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and monitor industry trends; share insights with internal stakeholders to guide planning and positioning.
  • Collaborate on the seasonal line plan for each brand, ensuring alignment with broader assortment strategies and cost structures.
  • Customize product assortments and create compelling seasonal business proposals tailored to each customer’s needs and marketplace trends.
  • Work closely with customers to communicate brand positioning and strategic initiatives; negotiate for optimal in-store placement, including branded shop-in-shops where applicable.

Operations & Results

  • Oversee daily order management processes, including tracking shipments, managing distribution changes, and ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with customer service and sales support teams.
  • Analyze weekly sales performance and stock levels; recommend merchandising strategies, markdowns, and reorder plans to maximize sell-through.
  • Partner with internal finance and operations teams to ensure accurate credit terms, shipping logistics, and order bookings.
  • Travel regularly to meet with retail partners and regional leadership to ensure proper brand execution in-store.

Customer & Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, ensuring consistent communication and strategic alignment.
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and internal departments including Sales, Design, and Production.
  • Collaborate with customers to manage co-op advertising, allowances, and returns.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on sales tactics, negotiations, and professional presentations.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the retail, fashion, or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; highly team-oriented and effective communicator.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency in retail math.
  • Knowledge of product development, supply chain processes, and current fashion and retail trends.

Salary Range:  $105,000-$130,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
