Overall Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Specialist (Product Development and Sourcing) to join our team in Shenzhen, China. The Senior Specialist will report to the Sourcing Manager and will be responsible for providing support to manage product development setup and sourcing activities from Asia. This position will collaborate with the Sales, Design and Production team to ensure execution to time-and-action calendar of product development activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product development and sourcing, with a focus on cosmetics, personal care, bath, and toy items, as well as solid skills of managing data, analysis, reports, calendar and PD related software / platform. Knowledge of product design will be an additional bonus for this position. The Senior Specialist will have a dotted reporting line to VP, Design in the New York Office to collaboratively implement strategies and directions of sourcing and product development.
• New development style Creation (PLM system).
• Sales UPC Creation Process for PD items (SAP system)
• Support item sourcing and managing data (RFQ at Airtable platform).
• Collaborations with Production Team regarding artwork approval status of development items (Weekly Production WIP).
• Supporting sample arrangements to retailers, licensors and internal approvals.
• Working together with Design Team to manage Asia Beauty Showroom and preparations of presentations / retailer visits.

Additional Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Product Development, Product Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, with a focus on cosmetic, personal care, bath, and toy items.
• Strong data management skills.
• Knowledge of the latest technologies, systems, platforms and apps that can be applied to product management and sourcing analysis.
• Background in licensing business is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Understanding of the US market trend and culture.
