Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are actively seeking a dedicated and motivated Planning Manager to contribute to our dynamic team. In this role, the emphasis will be on retail and ecommerce (Amazon) forecasting, inventory management, and sales reporting across a wide variety of product categories, brands and retailers within the Accessories Group. The successful candidate will possess a solid analytical foundation, showcasing experience in store and online sales and inventory planning and customer relationship management. This individual will play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels across a diverse customer base and achieving sales targets, necessitating close collaboration with cross-functional teams, direct interaction with retailer planning teams, and proactive engagement with sales teams.

 

  • Forecasting and Inventory Management:
    • Develop and maintain precise sales forecasts tailored to department store and e-commerce accounts.
    • Amazon sales and inventory forecast ownership.
    • Analyze sales data and inventory levels, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Build and maintain ladder plans to track and forecast retail sales, receipts, and inventory
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate extensively with sales teams to align forecasting and inventory strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Engage directly with retailer planning and replenishment teams to optimize inventory levels based on sales trends and customer demand.
  • Inventory Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor inventory levels closely (by store as needed) and take proactive measures to address potential stockouts or overstocks.
    • Track replenishment trends and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure inventory is available and flowing as needed to maximize sales and in stock position.
    • Manage shared inventory through familiarity with product and respective businesses to make informed decisions on purchases, movements and product life status.
  • Reporting and Presentation:
    • Prepare and present tailored sales reports and forecasts for the internal sales team and external retail partners.
    • Conduct weekly, monthly and annual sales and inventory meetings to highlight reorder opportunities and excess inventory risks.
    • Must possess ability to clearly communicate data-driven insights to internal and external teams, utilizing data visualization, power point presentations, and retail data
    • Report on Licensor sales performance.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in planning, inventory management, or a related field, with a focus on the fashion / apparel industry.
  • Amazon sales and inventory planning experience.
  • Vendor Central experience is required.   
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficient in SAP (AO), Excel and familiarity working with retailer data portals (e.g. Tillerman).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, production, operations, merchandising) and direct interaction with retail partners.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
