Temporary Accountant (Royalties) - 3 month assignment

Centric Brands is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Accountant to join our Royalty Accounting Team for a 3–4 month assignment. This role is critical in supporting our financial operations by ensuring accurate royalty tracking and reporting. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external licensors to maintain compliance and integrity in royalty-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to key stakeholders in FP&A, including Gross-to-Net Sales, Dilution, and Royalties Earned by license agreement.

• Support weekly and monthly validations to confirm proper product-to-brand and contract mappings, and ensure accurate deductions at the contract level.

• Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports needed to issue royalty payments to licensors.

• Respond to ad hoc requests from internal divisions, legal, and external licensors.

• Generate SAP reports and gather necessary documentation for royalty audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Ability to develop and interpret ad hoc financial reports.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Salary range: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
