Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We’re seeking a sharp, strategic, and detail-obsessed Copywriter to craft compelling copy for eCommerce and digital content that drives conversion and brand engagement in our Lifestyle Brands portfolio with a focus on the Dockers brand. In this role, you’ll bring products to life through clear, persuasive product descriptions, homepage headlines, collection landing pages, and seasonal content. You’re fluent in brand voice, skilled in SEO basics, and an expert in the Amazon content and copy ecosphere.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging, on-brand product descriptions for seasonal collections across men's and women's categories.
  • Craft homepage messaging, promotional banners, and campaign taglines that drive click-through and engagement.
  • Partner with digital design, merchandising, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact, conversion-focused copy across the site.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and brand voice across all digital channels.
  • Optimize product and page copy for searchability (SEO) while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on new product launches, storytelling moments, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Maintain content calendars and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spearhead copy for the Dockers brand shop on Amazon that educates, engages, and converts.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio of eCommerce and digital content.
  • Deep understanding of digital user behavior, especially in retail/fashion eComm.
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Comfort working with CMS and content management tools (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce, etc.).
  • A flexible writing style that adapts to brand tone, whether it's witty, classic, bold, or minimal.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods categories.
  • Familiarity with SEO writing best practices.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and bring products and ideas to life through words.

Salary Range: $71,200 - $85,000

 

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
