Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Senior Planner - VMI to join its Lifestyle team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.

 

The Senior Planner - VMI will be responsible for the day to day management of the Kohls VMI program. This position will work with planning, sales, Kohls, and the operations teams to ensure the success of the business.  The Planner will be responsible for timely and accurate communication of the weekly replenishment to Kohls, and  work closely with the Kohls team to align, and then partner with operations to execute.

 

Responsibilities

  • Align with Demand planning and Kohls on the bottoms up demand forecasts at the style/color level.
  • Collaborate with Kohls on seasonal plans, OTB, and store model stock levels.
  • Manage store clusters, size profiles, and service level targets, and adjusts as needed.
  • Monitor weekly performance and inventory levels at the store level, and make suggestions on replenishment quantities.
  • Call out potential issues and/or risk of actual EDI orders versus monthly projections.
  • Key Partner with Sales, Planning, Supply Planning, Kohls, and Operations.
  • Develop and distribute weekly reporting on replenishment sales performance and inventory levels. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team and retail accounts to analyze the business, suggest models/inventory levels, maximize replenishment SKUs, and identify OTB opportunities or risks. 
  • Be and integral part of building a best in class process and tool to support the VMI process.
  • Participate in product reviews with sales for SKU Rationalization, minimizing long tail exposure and ensuring optimal inventory levels of the product lifecycle.

 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience with extensive knowledge of the Kohls and VMI process
  • Wholesale/Retail replenishment experience in a seasonally driven product category
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to think both strategically and execute tactically
  • Ability to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the business
  • Be able to influence others based on the analysis and forecasting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to convey point of view
  • Must be proficient at creating any new reporting tools to stay ahead of our competition and accounts’ analytical expectations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful – Capable of problem solving
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, results-driven work environment
  • SAP experience, a plus
  • Tillerman experience, a plus
  • Retail planning knowledge or experience required

Salary Range: $78,400 - $105,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
