Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Logistics Inbound Coordinator position is part of the Receiving Audit Team, reporting to Logan Thomas in the Greensboro, NC, office. This role plays a critical role in ensuring inbound shipments are properly processed, documented, and reflected accurately across SAP and related systems. It supports inbound visibility, exception resolution, vendor compliance, and system integrity across the supply chain. The role works cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, DC Operations, Compliance, IT, and global vendors, and contributes to improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, reporting, and process control.

 

  • Drive accuracy by maintaining the Receiving Audit Tracker, capturing inbound discrepancies that feed into KPI performance metrics.
  • Investigate and resolve mismatches across ASNs, purchase orders, packing lists, and physical receipts to ensure end-to-end shipment accuracy.
  • Identify and escalate inbound receiving issues—such as overages, shortages, and duplicates—to reduce processing delays and improve accountability.
  • Ensure SAP and WMS transactions reflect actual physical receipts, correcting data gaps before they impact inventory integrity.
  • Lead the validation and resolution of EDI 944 transmission issues, working closely with IT and Nexus support to maintain data flow.
  • Partner with the Inventory team to reconcile EDI 846 WMS data against SAP 944 receipts, ensuring system alignment and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with established SOPs, including ASN creation, documentation timing, and labeling standards.
  • Prevent financial close delays by resolving aged ASNs and unmatched receipts in a timely and organized manner.
  • Represent the Receiving Audit Team in weekly compliance meetings, sharing insights, reporting metrics, and driving resolution updates.
  • Collaborate with the CFS team to ensure proper stuffing and receiving practices are followed; assist with SOP updates and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate with DCs, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to validate container milestones (EDI 315) and ensure shipment statuses are accurately updated in SAP.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to inbound reporting, analyzing exception trends, and participating in system and process enhancement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in international logistics, inbound operations, or inventory control.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and WMS platforms; Infor Nexus is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with global import/export requirements and compliance documentation (US, Canada, EU, Mexico).
  • Strong working knowledge of EDI data (856, 943, 944, 846, 315) and inbound shipment flows.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with vendors.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
