Specific Responsibilities Would Include

As a key member of the Sales team, the Senior Sales Executive will drive growth and profitability for the Dockers brand under Centric Brands. This position plays a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives, building strong customer relationships, and driving business results. The ideal candidate brings deep industry experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for elevating iconic brands in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Support the creation and execution of strategic sales plans to grow existing accounts and penetrate new markets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail channels.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform assortment planning and sales strategy.

  • Collaborate on the development of customer-specific line plans that align with brand direction, customer needs, and cost structure.

  • Present seasonal business proposals, recommending assortments tailored to customer profiles and market trends.

  • Partner with accounts to secure premium in-store placement and execute brand initiatives, including branded in-store experiences where applicable.

Sales Operations & Performance Management

  • Oversee daily sales operations including order management, shipment tracking, and inventory distribution in coordination with sales support and customer service teams.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and inventory levels; recommend merchandising, markdown, and reorder strategies to drive sell-through.

  • Partner with internal teams—Finance, Planning, Operations—to ensure timely order fulfillment, accurate shipping, and account health.

  • Attend customer meetings and trade shows to present collections and strengthen retail relationships.

Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners across multiple tiers.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Planning) and customers.

  • Partner with retail coordinators and merchandising teams to ensure in-store execution aligns with brand standards.

  • Manage co-op advertising budgets, markdown allowances, and return negotiations to maintain profitability and brand integrity.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on sales strategy, customer engagement, and professional development.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, actively sharing market insights and opportunities.

  • Lead by example in professionalism, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • 5–8+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally within the apparel, fashion, or lifestyle brand sector.

  • Proven ability to grow business and manage complex customer relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in retail math and business KPIs.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SAP a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of product development cycles, merchandising, supply chain, packaging, and marketing within the retail environment.

Salary Range: $104,800 - $125,000

 

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
