Founded by sisters Sara and Erin Foster, our casually cool collection of wardrobe essentials has become a go-to for women seeking style with substance. Now, as we open our newest boutique on Madison Avenue, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to help bring the brand to life and deliver an unforgettable shopping experience.

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving sales, leading the team, and ensuring the boutique runs smoothly day-to-day. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on the sales floor, loves building customer connections, and is excited to grow within a fast-expanding brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales & Customer Experience

    • Support in achieving (and exceeding) sales goals and KPIs.

    • Lead by example on the sales floor, providing styling, clienteling, and customer outreach.

    • Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and experiences the Favorite Daughter brand at its best.

  • Team Support & Development

    • Assist in training, coaching, and motivating sales associates to reach individual and team goals.

    • Provide real-time feedback and recognition to keep the team engaged and inspired.

    • Step into leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is not present.

  • Operational Excellence

    • Help maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect the Favorite Daughter aesthetic.

    • Support in managing stock flow, inventory accuracy, and store organization.

    • Uphold operational processes, policies, and loss prevention standards.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • 2–3+ years of retail management or supervisory experience, preferably in a customer service–focused environment.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Proven ability to drive sales through customer engagement and team motivation.

  • Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering elevated customer experiences.

  • Comfortable with POS systems and basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Compensation & Benefits
