Specific Responsibilities Would Include

  • Support all financial reporting, including weekly/monthly and quarterly internal/external reporting for Centric Brands; Consolidate divisional data/information and present total company P&L
  • Assist with board & executive level reporting and presentation of financial results & key performance indicators, constantly improving quality & efficiency
  • Assist with execution of various business analyses and drive cross-functional initiatives with divisional finance teams to collect and summarize key information and data for consolidated reporting
  • Perform monthly and ad-hoc analyses for profit and operating costs in comparison to budget and forecasts
  • Work cross-functionally with divisional finance leads and utilize understanding of underlying business drivers to continuously enhance reporting and improve accuracy
  • Effectively communicate and present financial matters to key stakeholders and leaders
  • Improve and maintain financial reporting systems / capabilities
  • Manage and analyze company’s Corporate SG&A areas
  • Support VP of Finance to partner with all corporate departments including, but not limited to, IT and HR.  
  • Contribute to budget process by challenging assumptions to ensure validity and proactively seek out opportunities for streamlining efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Assist with monthly close process (reclasses, accruals, prepaid account reconciliation) ensuring entries are properly recorded by Corporate Accounting.
  • Reconcile variances of monthly actuals between Latest Estimate, Budget, and Prior Year.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of overall experience within FP&A, consulting or investment banking
  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, V-lookups, logic formulas, shortcuts, Power Query/Power BI) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with business intelligence/database tools (SAP/BPC a plus)
  • Ability to work with and derive business decisions from large data sets 
  • Retail / Consumer industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
