Our Licensing team is looking for someone with the drive, experience and unstoppable enthusiasm to help us leverage the power and potential of our licensed brands.

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Centric Brands is seeking a Senior Manager, Licensing SELG responsible for working on the licensed portfolio in its Sports & Entertainment licensing group, which includes Sleepwear and Health & Beauty products in addition to other categories.  The Senior Manager, Licensing SELG will be the key liaison between our internal teams and Licensors, including leading entertainment companies, such as Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros and many others.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with licensors to execute marketing strategies, as well as provide in-depth analysis on current business, the competitive & retail landscapes, trends and opportunities, and retail placement and selling reports
  • Liaison between Licensor and internal departments such as Sales, Finance, Design and Production, to ensure all updated property information is distributed and financial goals are met
  • Work with Legal to review and track licensing contracts, including signing new partners and renewing existing contracts for royalty revenue growth; monitor contractual minimums and off-price caps.
  • Facilitate contract compliance matters with internal teams, including manufacturer’s agreements, custom import authorization letters and marketing spends
  • Maintain approved account lists, as well as ensure specific distributor and sales rep agreements are in compliance with approved customers
  • Assist in compilation and review of budgets and forecasts
  • Represent Accessories division at annual conventions, partner summits, trade shows and client meetings

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: previous licensing experience of 5-10 years preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Analytical; comfortable working with numbers; proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience in PLM & SAP a plus
  • Fast-paced environment requires a dedicated self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and excellent organizational skills
  • Passion for building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and manage tight deadlines

Salary Range: $92,000-$120,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
