Overall Responsibilities
DESIGN & CREATION (Illustrator format)
1. Analyze global fashion trends and compile professional trend reports.
2. Create development sketches and detailed specs for handbags.
3. Handle some prints pattern, embroidery artworks, hardware, webbing ,hang-tags etc. and related graphics tasks.
4. Support US and Asia-based designers day-to-day, delivering every assignment on time and in full.
5. Handling any additional graphic work requested by other departments.
CAD / LINE GRID PRODUCTION (Illustrator format)
1. Build accurate development specs and production spec sheets.
2. Generate each seasonal styles line-grids, hardware charts, dangle charts, material charts, etc.
3. Design the full visual layout of seasonal product catalogues.
4. Set up the Walmart production -testing CADs/line sheets.
5. Execute follow-up tasks issued by merchandisers and US designers.
CORE COMPETENCIES
1. Good at Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; able to work independently.
2. Good at basic Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
3. College diploma or above; 2-3 years’ experience in leather-goods, fashion or industrial design preferred.
4. Strong creativity and aesthetic sense; sharp eye for colour, composition and handbag-specific trends.
5. Fast, flexible and able to translate creative direction into finished art quickly.
6. High sense of responsibility; always delivers work on time and in full.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
1. Articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
2. Fluent in both written & spoken English; comfortable reading English design packs and e-mails.
3. Pro-active in giving progress updates and raising issues promptly.
4. Collaborates smoothly with colleagues and US designers on daily tasks.

• Extensive knowledge of traditional and web-based graphic production techniques, including color separations, camera-ready art, heat transfers, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 4 - 7 years experience in graphic design; significant relevant experience in category.
• Expert in Adobe products and Mac computers; highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
