Overall Responsibilities
1. Product Development & Sample Management
• Manage Development Plans: Follow the development schedule to collect, organize, and categorize new items developed by the factory.
• Oversee Lifecycle: Manage the entire style development process, from the initial concept phase through to final approval.
• Track Samples: Closely monitor the progress of initial pre-production samples and revised samples. Ensure all products meet our design standards and specifications before mass production begins.
2. Design-to-Production Coordination
• Manage Packaging Design: Create 2D packaging sketches and layouts based on the rendering artwork provided by the US team.
• Bridge Communication: Act as the link between the US product team and local factories. Provide guidance to resolve construction issues, material selection, or visual defects during the sampling phase.
3. Data Management & Reporting
• Update Trackers: Regularly update the product development tracker to reflect the current status of artwork and sampling.
• Keep Teams Informed: Ensure all stakeholders are aware of development milestones and alert them immediately regarding any potential delays.
4. Packaging & Documentation
• Manage Documents: Collect, organize, and review all production documents related to product packaging.
• Check Compliance: Ensure all packaging specifications align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus in any
• cosmetic,
• personal care & bath,
• hair & jewellery accessories
• stationary items.
3. Professional Experience
• Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end (0 to 1) development process, specifically within the categories of cultural/creative products, accessories, stationery, or bags.
• Proven background in foreign trade merchandising or product development within an international context.
4. Language & Communication
• Proficiency in English (Written and Spoken) is mandatory for daily communication with US headquarters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge cultural and technical gaps between design teams and manufacturers.
5. Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel skills).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, for 2D artwork sketching and artwork amendment.
6. Personal Attributes
• Highly responsible with a strong sense of ownership over projects.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

7. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
