Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Associate Designer supports the Senior Designer(s) in the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery, by contributing original, trend-appropriate design concepts that meet market needs and drive sales and ensuring the timely execution of each stage in the creation process. 

  

Skills and Requirements 

  • Creative with excellent sketching abilities and a refined taste level
  • Ability to take direction for preliminary design research, including competitive analysis, pull fabrics, develop concepts, assemble presentation boards for meetings, prepare mock-ups, color-ups, inspirational images
  • Excellent sense of color, ability to put together a color palette, comment on lab dips, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fit and finishes
  • Understanding of Menswear market and ability to speak to trends
  • Able to navigate complex organizational matrixes
  • Ability to foster meaningful cross functional relationships

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Minimum 2-3 years in apparel design and degree in Fashion
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Programs utilized for job: Adobe creative suites, Flex PLM, Browzwear, Kaledo, Miro, various AI programs.

Salary Range: $58,800-$75,000
