Reporting to the VP of Treasury, the Senior Manager, Treasury is responsible for managing core treasury operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, banking administration, and treasury reporting. This role will lead the preparation and maintenance of the company’s direct cash forecasting model and provide weekly analysis of actual versus forecasted cash results.

The position requires a highly analytical and proactive treasury professional with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. The Senior Manager will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, and senior leadership to support liquidity planning, optimize treasury processes, and drive operational efficiencies.

This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and provides an opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the company’s global operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively manages multiple priorities, and takes ownership of high-impact projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the company’s direct cash forecasting model, including weekly reporting of actual vs. forecast performance and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and distribute treasury reports to senior management, including daily cash position, cash forecast updates, collections, dynamic discounting, and AR-related metrics.
  • Monitor global liquidity and recommend strategies to optimize cash utilization.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support treasury decision-making, including jurisdiction-level cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange (FX) exposure and hedging models, liquidity planning, and other scenario-based treasury analyses.
  • Manage the corporate credit card program, including spend analysis, annual program reviews, monitoring balances, and recommending paydowns.
  • Administer and maintain letters of credit with suppliers and business partners.
  • Coordinate the opening and closing of bank accounts, maintain bank documentation, and manage administration of banking portals.
  • Oversee manual wire and payment activities, including:
  • Initiating and approving wire payments
  • Setting up and maintaining payment templates
  • Researching payment inquiries (wires, checks, ACH)
  • Monitoring and releasing debit blocks
  • Managing manual check requests
  • Maintaining ACH transaction records
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to treasury activities.
  • Prepare treasury-related journal entries, including interest accruals, and reconcile associated cash and debt schedules.
  • Oversee bank reconciliation processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations.
  • Review and provide guidance on cash accounting activities performed by Shared Services.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with lender reporting requirements and treasury-related covenants.
  • Document and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls, in collaboration with management and Internal Audit.
  • Identify and implement treasury best practices and process improvements across treasury operations.
  • Ensure appropriate controls over payments, banking access, and treasury transactions.
  • Lead or support treasury initiatives, including bank data automation with SAP/ERP systems, treasury system and reporting enhancements, optimization of merchant and corporate card programs, and treasury support for acquisitions, integrations, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Partner with AP, AR, Accounting, FP&A, and senior management to address treasury-related matters, support liquidity planning and working capital initiatives, and drive process improvements across the organization.

 

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–7+ years of treasury or finance experience with increasing responsibility
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation preferred
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets
  • Experience with bank portals, treasury reporting, and cash forecasting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

Salary Range:  $130,000 - 150,000

 

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent.  Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment.  The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.  Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
